The body had been strangled and dumped into the river Thames. Upon inspecting the body Sherlock sighed, "Divorced and within thirty-five years of age. By the look of her clothing she looks like a business woman, possibly a lawer--ah." Wanting to check his theory he scanned for recent high profile court cases. Finding what he was looking for he let a smirk form on his lips. "She was murdered by the gang member's she's prosecuting against. It's their signature, strangulation. She wanted to be made an example of by those members who are not in prison. ...Simple."
Walking away while pocketing his phone he called back, "When you get a more interesting case contact me. In the meantime I have my own affairs to settle!" Looking about the street he took in his surroundings. There were no good cases of late and he was left to be utterly bored.

he heard of the body that had been dumped in the thames. such violence, for no apparent reason either. rory didn't understand what would drive someone to kill a person. hopefully, it won't take them long to find the person responsible and take them off the street. he was a nurse, he cared for all living things. the idea that someone could take a life disgusted him. not his problem, though. rory walked up the street, bored and trying to find something to do. he thought of going to find amy, take her out somewhere. a date sounded like a good idea. thinking of the date, making plans, he wasn't really paying attention to where he was going and he ran into someone. taking a step back, he looked at the tall, black haired man. "sorry," he said, apologetically.

Having difficulty hailing a cab, Sherlock was about to walk when someone crashed into him. Heaving a sigh he looked over. "Quite alright." Then forcing a grin on his face he turned back to attempt to get a cap one last time.
Finding it useless he began to walk and the man was just ahead of him. Looking at him he became somewhat amused, "You're a nurse." He did not question, he stated. There were too many clear signs, why was everyone so obvious?

rory looked at him as he stated that he was a nurse. he didn't know who this man was, had never even seen him before. he wasn't used to people just stating stuff like that. in fact, some people didn't know he was a nurse unless if he was in his scrubs and that day, he wasn't. no, that day he had on a pair of jeans and a plaid shirt. clothes like that really didn't scream nurse. rory looked at the guy curiously and said, "yes. how did you know that?"
