I'M PART OF THE ORIGINAL CHARACTERS. ____________________ Bubbly: Rosemary is always jumping around and causing people to look at her like she is on drugs. There are a rare few that jump in and enjoy her craziness, but they are the ones who are actually on drugs. She would like to find a trustworthy friend that isn't actually throwing themselves in the drug world and doesn't need the constant need of attention. Troubled: She has a deep past that rarely gets to others. No one would expect her to have anything wrong with the way she acts so when she does tell someone something about her past, they tend to think she is a liar and ignore her. She doesn't talk about the deepness in her life with anyone as a result of what people had reacted in the past. Procrastinator: Rosemary wants to do so much in life, but it rarely ever happens until much later than she planned. Getting her first car took a while, as well as her first job. Other, more reliable things are the ones she goes to first. Things that she is used to. Something new happening in her life needs her to test the water with her toes in order to jump in fully. She's almost like a dog running around the pool, wanting to jump in after the person they care about, but they don't want to get wet. In the end, they find a way to get to a flotation device and paddle their way across. Compassionate: Her heart goes out to those in need, but it is mostly animals. Though people tend to catch her heart too, of course. She is very caring and always wants to help someone and help take care of them if they need it. Of course, a thank you or something of appreciation is always nice. If she doesn't get a simple thank you in return, she may be less likely to do more favors for that person in the future. Emotional: Rosemary tends to to feel so strongly about something that she cries more than most. She was called a crybaby in grade school, but now enjoys how in touch with her emotions she can be, but if someone says something insulting or just down right mean, she'll make a big fuss and storm off in a fit of tears when most would blow it off. Intuitive: If she passes someone moping on the street, Rosemary will try to brighten their day by giving them a smile and a wave. She knows when people are feeling down and always will try her hardest to get their days to be a little better. She's already kept three people from committing suicide, though they didn't produce many thanks, she keeps on making life worth living for everyone else even though hers is hard to make it through as well. Imaginative: She is always daydreaming about the most interesting things. The fantasy movies and books are all she thinks about, hoping they would become real so badly. Protective: When her friends are in trouble, she will stand up for them no matter how small or nonthreatening she might look. No one messes with her friends and she'll give her own life just so they're alright. In her mind, their lives are more important than hers. Clinging: Though she is a loving and compassionate girl, those tend to get her into trouble when she is looking for someone to love. She is very depending on people to help her because she is too sheltered to do it herself and won't jump into that pool until she scares herself into doing it. Sheltered: Her family never taught her anything and she learned everything from the outside world. They don't have very good resources and don't tend to talk about unmentionable things very often so she is quite oblivious to most things. If she asks a question that may seem vulgar, she really doesn't mean any harm. She just doesn't know. Well Rounded: Rosemary grew up on culture from her family. She knows much about the past. Clothing styles, music, movies, names of well known people....everything. Most people her age don't even know who Fred Astaire is and to Rosemary, he is the person she would most like to meet, dead or not. A few things she loves are eighties movies, Elvis, The Osmonds, and Michael Jackson. That is only the beginning of her well rounded culture. Sense of Humor: Rosemary loves to laugh and finds humor to be number one on her list of things she looks for in someone, friend, or love. If you make her laugh, you're the best person in the world to her. Anything makes her laugh really. Dry humor, sarcasm, innuendo, potty humor, puns... She gets humor in everything. Rosemary was born in Holland, so she has a light accent. But she moved to the US when she was ten and her English is perfect. She knows more of it than Dutch, her native tongue. She was a premature thing, only two pounds and twelve ounces. She had to stay in the hospital for about a month before she was well enough to leave and even then, she needed to be treated even more sensitively than most babies. Her skin was a dark red and also covered in a white film. She wasn't developed enough, but she had stopped growing anyway so she needed to get out or she would have died. She was born to Mina Harlequin and Marius Harlequin. The families were accustomed to M names for generations, telling their son to marry a woman who's first name started with an M. It was only coincidence that he fell in love with Mina. They quickly broke the tradition with M names with Rosemary but her sister, Madison was kept with the tradition. Maybe that is why Rosemary is so different. Her parents were divorced when she was six and she automatically thought that she was the cause. She constantly asked her family to kill her and was put into therapy. All while she was a little girl in elementary school, also being pushed around there too. That is the prime source of where her problems started. After going to therapy and having them all give up on her uncooperative nature, she found a way to curve away from it all. Act like she was fine. She does this better than anyone and she even fools her self from time to time. Everyone always seems to ask what type of drugs she is on because she is so full of energy, though she hates the mere thought of drugs. School was quite hard for Rosemary. No one seemed to relate to her fully and he desperately tried to find her place by changing herself in order to be liked, but even then, people only found her to be annoying. Middle school was the worst for her. Her breasts were already fully grown when most of the children didn't even have a peak. She wore sweatshirts all through school until the girls around her actually started to show theirs and even then, no one wanted to be Rosemary's friend from how much of a loser she had been in the past, no matter what she was wearing or not. Only in the later years of her high school life was she more accepted and started making more and more friends. Once she got out of high school, she didn't know whether or not what she wanted to do was college worthy so she started looking for jobs she was interested in and found one, thankfully, at the Humane Society. So far, she is doing very well there and doesn't feel the need to go to college. Taking care of animals isn't exactly something colleges offer as a major anyway and that is just what she wants to do. She still has a good relationship with her father, going to his house as much as she can afford without work getting in the way. They "garage sale" and "bum around" looking at knick knacks and other small treasures. Though she is closer to her mother in distance, she doesn't get along with her as much as her father. Her mother has trouble with alcohol and mood swings and always needing to be right about something. Rosemary developed a sensitivity to yelling at an early age because of her mother. Ever since then, loud noises ruffle her feathers.
